The State government has decided to provide free Wi-Fi services at 25 tourists place in the city and also at seven tourism corporation hotels this month. This was announced by Minister for Tourism Azmeera Chandulal at a press conference held at secretariat on Thursday. He said Wi-Fi zones would be established as part of the free Wi-Fi network.

Though there was good inflow of tourists in the city, the government was of the view that free Wi-Fi facility would attract more tourists. The government also intended to make Hyderabad the first city in the country with free Wi-Fi facility.
