Hyderabad: Five injured in stampede at Army recruitment camp

Around four to five people were injured in a stampede during the Territorial Army recruitment camp, which begun this morning at Thirumalgiri in Secunderabad. Around 10,000 aspirants attended the camp which is being held for the recruitment of part time soldiers in Territorial Army.

Initial reports suggest that the stamped occurred when the aspirants, who appeared for physical tests, rushed inside the ground with the officials opening the gates suddenly.
All the injured were rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment.
