He said that the government had taken all the necessary steps to shift employees to the temporary Secretariat by June 15. Stating that discussions were on with the employees to shift them to Velagapudi by providing necessary infrastructure, Narayana said the government would allot space to each department, as per the requirement.

He also said that the question of nativity of the children of the employees would be addressed by the government by duly discussing the issue with the Central government. Another meeting would be held with the employees and the government was ready to address all concerns of the employees, he added.

Replying to a question, the Minister said that the government had never promised a job to every family in the capital region and accused the opposition was of carrying out false propaganda against the government. He clarified that the CRDA would impart necessary training to the unemployed youth in the capital region to improve their skills, so that they could get job opportunities.

He added that the construction companies involved in temporary Secretariat buildings have employed 30 engineers of Tullur area and they may take some more, If required. Earlier, the representatives of L&T and Shapoorji Pallonji companies explained to the Minister the progress in the construction work and assured to complete the work within the stipulated time.

Narayana said that the CRDA would call for tenders soon to lay necessary roads, as part of infrastructure development. Recently, a Chinese team had also visited the lift irrigation schemes meant for supplying drinking water to the temporary secretariat, he said.
