Hyderabad: Telangana TDP working president A Revanth Reddy on Friday wrote a letter to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on the issue of pending notifications for one lakh posts identified in different government departments in the state.

The TDP leader demanded filling of all the vacancies and provide relief to the unemployed youth eagerly waiting for job notification since the formation of Telangana in June 2014. TRS had promised that it would fill one lakh posts if the party comes to power.

KCR also promised to fill 25,000 jobs every year. Practically, the government failed in the recruitment process, he said. The TDP leader demanded the government that they increase the number of posts under Group–2 notification and also postpone the exam in view of clashing with the exam schedule announced already by Railways and Banking sectors for the recruitment of vacancies in the two central agencies.

Reddy also demanded that interviews be removed for group-2 posts, increase number of SI (Sub-Inspector) posts in the recently announced notification, issue notification for group-3 posts and announce a year recruitment calendar by TSPSC (Telangana State Public Service Commission).

He also brought to the notice of Chief Minister that the textbooks containing the syllabus announced by the TSPSC for each exam were not available for the aspirants. As a result, private coaching centres are fleecing the students.
