Cabinet sub-committee reviews projects redesign
Following objections raised by opposition parties on the redesigning of irrigation projects, Cabinet sub-committee on irrigation headed by IM T Harish Rao on Sunday conducted a meeting and reviewed the status of the execution of project designs and works. The committee members Finance Minister E Rajendar and Roads and Buildings Minister T Nageshwara Rao were present at the meeting.
Hyderabad: Following objections raised by opposition parties on the redesigning of irrigation projects, Cabinet sub-committee on irrigation headed by Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Sunday conducted a meeting and reviewed the status of the execution of project designs and works. The committee members Finance Minister E Rajendar and Roads and Buildings Minister T Nageshwara Rao - were present at the meeting.
The members discussed the design change of Pranahita Kaleswaram project, change of place for Sita Rama project and Kantanapally projects and the second and third phase of works taken up on Devadula project. The sub-committee is scheduled to meet again on March 30, a day before the PowerPoint presentation on irrigation sector being made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the Assembly.
