SR &BGNR College alumni to bring out souvenir
The alumni of SR & BGNR Government Degree College met at the Budget Hotel in the town on Monday and decided to bring out a souvenir. They also felicitated one of the old students of the SR & BGNR Degree College, Kota Gurumurthy, who was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Academy of Universal Global Peace on March 5 at Benguluru in recognition of his meritorious services in South India.
Khammam: The alumni of SR & BGNR Government Degree College met at the Budget Hotel in the town on Monday and decided to bring out a souvenir. They also felicitated one of the old students of the SR & BGNR Degree College, Kota Gurumurthy, who was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Academy of Universal Global Peace on March 5 at Benguluru in recognition of his meritorious services in South India.
Guru Murthy’s wife Jhansi was awarded an honorary doctorate for taking part in various social services activities and she was also felicitated on the occasion. Dr Vemulapalli Raja Rao presided over the function and presented mementoes. Other members Dr B V Appa Rao, V Mallikarjuna, A Pullaiah, Gella Amarnath, B Viswanatham, Dr SRK Murthy, Dr Suseela and others were present.
