GHMC grants 2 lakh ex-gratia to kin of electrocuted boy

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor Bonthu Rammohan on Tuesday issued Rs. 2 lakh cheque to kin of a boy, who died of electrocution in the city. Mohammed Yousuf, a four-year-old lost his life due to electrocution in Golnaka division.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor Bonthu Rammohan on Tuesday issued Rs. 2 lakh cheque to kin of a boy, who died of electrocution in the city. Mohammed Yousuf, a four-year-old lost his life due to electrocution in Golnaka division.
He contacted live cable in street lighting junction box near Addi Karkhana in Nehru Nagar. On request of Golnaka corporator and family members of the deceased, the GHMC on humanitarian grounds sanctioned Rs. 2 lakh ex-gratia and handed over the cheque to them.
