Six prisoners released
Six prisoners were released from the district jail on Tuesday on the basis of their good behavior in the jail during punishment period. According to Deputy Superintendent of Nalgonda district jail Dr Srinivas, the six prisoners were released following Go NO: 38 issued on Monday night and the orders were implemented on Tuesday.

He said that the three life convicted prisoners, Mekala Indraiah, Kumba Veers wamy,and Mohd, Jakeer Hussain who completed 10 years imprisonment including two years remission were released. Also, the three non lifers G.Nkhil, Gunja Shankar and Bhupathi Yadaiah were also released for their good behavior while serving the prison term. The prisoners who were released thanked the State government and expressed their happiness for meeting their family members.
