Hyderabad: Six irrigation projects in Adilabad district are incomplete, said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. During his marathon Power Point Presentation on irrigation projects and the declaration of State government’s irrigation policy in the State Assembly on Thursday, he said that by 2018 all pending projects in the district would be completed. He said Sadarmat project, once completed, would help irrigate 20,000 acres.
He also assured that the Kadam project would also be completed. Terming the Lower Penganga Project as a big joke, Chandrashekar Rao said that this project could not be completed as it had several hurdles. Hence, the government had decided to construct Chenaka Korata project, he said.
