Ensure canal water reaches destination
District Collector P Satyanarayana Reddy directed the officials to take necessary steps and be vigilant till water released from Sagar left canal reaches its destination water bodies. He on Saturday conducted a review meeting with the officials of AMRP, NSP, IB, RWS and Dindi project at his camp office in Nalgonda. He guided the officials how to overcome the water scarcity problem in the district.

He on Saturday conducted a review meeting with the officials of AMRP, NSP, IB, RWS and Dindi project at his camp office in Nalgonda. He guided the officials how to overcome the water scarcity problem in the district.
The officials were told to take police help in order to prevent others from diverting water from canals to agricultural needs. He gathered information about the existing water levels in Nagarjuna Sagar and Dindi projects and discussed about water utilisation in future for public needs. Joint Collector Dr N Satyanarayana, DRO Ravi and engineers of various departments participated in the meeting.
