A crane carrying an Air India passenger plane crashed near Begumpet airport in Hyderabad on Sunday after losing its balance. The top police officials revealed that the flight was empty and in fact was being brought for training purposes to the airport. No casualties have been reported so far.
The incident took place at 7 am in the morning as the crane collapsed on the compound wall of Hitech club near Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam school at the Begumpet airport road in Bowenpally. Police officials who reached the spot are investigating the situation.
