Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Monday informed the High Court that it had given a go-ahead for the prosecution of MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi in a case against him for alleged hate speech in Nizamabad in 2013.

A two-judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice P Naveen Kumar was dealing with a petition filed by Syed Taraq Quadri.
