Agreeing with AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who said that the two states should cooperate regarding sharing of river waters, KCR said that Telangana is ready to extend help to AP as unnecessary conflicts will affect both the states.

The Chief Minister asserted that Khammam district will not be dealing with drought situations again after the completion of Seetarama Project. KCR who was accompanied by his wife Shobha Rao, grandson Himanshu, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya, and ministers A Indrakaran Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao stated that he would make plans for the development and better pilgrim amenities in Bhadrachalam, Parnasala and Jathayu mandapam.
