Hyderabad: Weatherman has some good news for denizens who are reeling under severe heat wave conditions. But they have to wait for a week. It is predicted that thunderstorms are likely to hit the Telangana region when temperatures are expected to come down.

Thunderstorms are likely to occur in the Telangana region next week. Talking to The Hans India, Assistant Meteorologist M Narsimha Rao said, dry weather was likely to continue for a week.

“Most places of Telangana State are very likely to record maximum temperature between 40 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius,” the Met Department said in its bulletin.

Issuing a heat wave warning for the next three days for Telangana, the Met Department said heat wave conditions are very likely to prevail over many parts in the districts of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda and Warangal. There was a rise in maximum temperatures at one or two places over Telangana on Saturday.
