Home Guard dies of sunstroke

A 45-year-old Home Guard working at Gandhi Nagar police station died due to Sunstroke during late on Saturday night. Pratap (HG 6216), a native of Dharmasagar in Warangal district joined the service about 15 years ago. He worked in various police stations including Chilkalguda.
Hyderabad: A 45-year-old Home Guard working at Gandhi Nagar police station died due to Sunstroke during late on Saturday night. Pratap (HG 6216), a native of Dharmasagar in Warangal district joined the service about 15 years ago. He worked in various police stations including Chilkalguda.
Last week, Pratap complained about high fever and body pains, and took a leave, saying that he would attend the duties on Sunday. But Pratap did not recover and was admitted to MGM hospital at Warangal. On Saturday night, Pratap breathe his last while undergoing treatment at the hospital. The deceased home guard is survived by wife and three children including two daughters.
