Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is planning to organise a bike rally, Veer Hanuman Vijay Yatra from Gowliguda Ram temple to Imperial gardens at Secunderabad on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi on April 22 at 10 am.

Hyderabad: Bajrang Dal, the youth wing of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is planning to organise a bike rally, Veer Hanuman Vijay Yatra from Gowliguda Ram temple to Imperial gardens at Secunderabad on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi on April 22 at 10 am.

This was announced in a press conference by the VHP president M Rama Raju, Bajrang Dal state convener Y Bhanu Prakash and city president N Chandrashekar at VHP office on Wednesday.

Rama Raju said that VHP all India joint secretary Surender Jain would be the chief guest for the Shobha yatra and also for a public meeting at Secunderabad. That shobha yatra would commence at 10 am on April 22 after performing a Shanthi homam at 7 am. The shobha yatra would pass through Andhra Bank at Koti cross roads.

Recitation of Sri Hanuman Chalisa and a speech by Surender Jain were also planned for the event. The rally would then proceed towards Ram Koti, Kacheguda, Naryanaguda, RTC cross roads and via Ashoknagar, Secunderabad and would reach Imperial gardens in Secunderabad by 5 pm.

Convener Bhanu Prakash said, the main intention to organise the yatra was to unite the Hindu youth and encourage brotherhood among them. He said that yatras are organised under the banner of Bajrang Dal in districts. He said this time they expect more than two lakh bikes.
