The loss of revenue is put at Rs 70,71,618 as 11,046 tickets remained unsold.

Of the 1,250 donor tickets, each priced at Rs 5,000, only 665 could be sold. Of the 1,700 VIP tickets each priced at Rs 2,000 only 634 could be sold. Out of 727 tickets each priced at Rs 1,116, only 498 could be sold. Further, out of 1,800 tickets each priced at Rs 500 only 1,208 could be sold.

Moreover, the temple could sell only 4,436 tickets each priced at Rs 200 and 3,602 tickets each valued at Rs 100 were sold. For the coronation ceremony, 225 VVIP tickets each priced at Rs 250 were sold and only 152 VIP tickets each valued at Rs 100 were sold.

In fact, the temple could realise a revenue of Rs 70,71,618 in 2016 as against Rs 94,49,160 realised in 2015. It earned Rs 4,85,060 this year selling Rs 50 darshan tickets as against Rs 7,90,000 earned last year. The revenue accrued to the temple by way of selling laddus was put at Rs 29,18, 875 as against Rs 39,68,005 earned last year.
