As many as 30,908 candidates have taken the police constable preliminary written test which was held at 79 centers in three towns of the Nizamabad district on Sunday.  A total of 33,336 candidates had registered for the test. The test was held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. District Superintendent of Police Chandrasekhar Reddy monitored the conduct of the examination at all the centers.

A total of 33,336 candidates had registered for the test. The test was held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. District Superintendent of Police Chandrasekhar Reddy monitored the conduct of the examination at all the centers.

The following table illustrates the number of candidates registered vis-à-vis the number of candidates appeared for the preliminary examination. One observer and two special observers from the JNTU were posted at each examination center for the effective conduct of the examination. Section 144 has been imposed near the examination centers. Security was beefed up in Nizamabad, Kamareddy, and Armoor for the recruitment test.
