Warangal: The speakers at a round table meeting on the issues of tenant farmers have demanded the State government to issue loan eligibility cards to all the tenant farmers.

The government failed to provide the ex-gratia of Rs 6 lakhs promised to the families of the deceased farmers.

Immediate steps to issue the cards and loans to all tenant farmers, making the agriculture and revenue officials accountable for the purpose, waiving of loans of all tenant farmers in drought hit areas were among the demands. Leaders of various Left wing organisations, A Kumar, B Chakrapani, P Babu, D Tirupathi, K Ramesh, M Nagender and others were present.
