Telangana Formation Day to be celebrated with grandeur
As the Telangana Formation Day is a couple of weeks away, the state government has already begun preparations to celebrate the second state Formation Day in a grand way. The celebrations would take place in Hyderabad and all the districts of the state on June 2.

On the occasion, a mega fireworks display is being organized that would be held on the banks of Hussainsagar. The arrangements for the occasion will be reviewed by the Cabinet subcommittee formed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Headed by home minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, the committee comprising of Ministers Etela Rajender, Ajmera Chandulal, KT Rama Rao and Jupally Krishna Rao as the members will oversee the event preparations as KCR intends to make the event a mega festivity throughout the state on June 2.
The kin of Telangana martyrs along with those who participated in the 1969 Telangana agitation will be honoured by the government and lifetime achievement awards will be presented to 50 eminent people from the state on the Telangana Formation Day.
