The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) announced the list of its district incharges (vice-presidents and general secretaries) and other party functionaries here on Wednesday.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) announced the list of its district incharges (vice-presidents and general secretaries) and other party functionaries here on Wednesday.
Briefing mediapersons at the end of its two-day extended meeting of party functionaries here on Wednesday, Vice-president (Communications) Mallu Ravi said that the TPCC had also decided to constitute all the mandal-level committees by the end of June and booth-level committees thereafter and all the committee members would be trained before the next Assembly and general elections to be held in 2019.
Some of the important training programmes would be attended by AICC Vice-President Rahul Gandhi and Political Advisor Prashant Kishore. “We shall ensure that good workers from 50 to 60 constituencies are assured tickets at least one year prior to the elections,” he said.
The Vice-presidents who are incharges of districts are P Balram Naik and T Kumar Rao (Hyderabad), DK Aruna (Rangareddy), P Sabitha Indra Reddy (Adilabad), Gaddam Prasad Kumar (Nizamabad), P Narsimha Reddy (Karimnagar), Ponnam Prabhakar (Medak), M Ranga Reddy (Mahbubnagar), Dr Mallu Ravi (Nalgonda), Nandi Yellaiah (Warangal) and D Sridhar Babu (Khammam). Each district will also have three general secretaries as incharges.
