Hyderabad: Hyderabad is the most happening city and has emerged as the largest exporter in the IT sector. The IT exports this year touched Rs 68,000 crore and the state has surpassed Bengaluru, according to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Four major world renowned companies coming
1,700 units get permission in two weeks
No single case of corruption

Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, the Chief Minister said that Hyderabad is now number one in the country with Rs 68,000 crore software exports. Earlier, Bangalore was number one but this year Hyderabad had overtaken it, he said.

The Chief Minister said the opposition parties refuse to recognise the fact that the Hyderabad is the most happening city and keep on saying that the government was doing nothing.

They should realise that apart from the success in IT sector, the state is also number one in terms of welfare activities. With TSIPASS policy, more than 1,700 industries were given permission within two weeks without a bribe of a single rupee. They are unable to see this,” said KCR.

He said that many IT companies were showing interest to set up their offices in Hyderabad. Amazon has decided to set up its second largest campus after America in Hyderabad. Similarly, Google also would start its second largest campus outside of US and FaceBook is also coming to Hyderabad.

Apple, the world’s top smartphone manufacturer which shortlisted many places in the country, finally selected Hyderabad. More than 5,000 employees would be working in Hyderabad facility.

This is unprecedented victory of Telangana government. Four major world renowned companies are coming to Hyderabad during my regime,” said KCR. Telangana was the only state that was spending Rs 25,000 crore on irrigation projects, he added.
