About 92 percent of the registered candidates attended the ICET-2016 held on Thursday for admission into MCA and MBA courses in the colleges of Telangana State. The ICET convener, Prof K Omprakash, said out of 72,474 registered 66,701 appeared for the test in 127 examination centres across the State. 

Warangal: About 92 percent of the registered candidates attended the ICET-2016 held on Thursday for admission into MCA and MBA courses in the colleges of Telangana State. The ICET convener, Prof K Omprakash, said out of 72,474 registered 66,701 appeared for the test in 127 examination centres across the State.

The key would be posted on the website on Thursday at 8 pm and objections would be accepted until May 24 till 5 pm. In Warangal region, 7,870 candidates have applied for the test of which 7,453 appeared at 14 examination centres in tri-cities of Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet.

This time, the attendance of the students was registered with the help of biometric system. The test results would be declared on May 31, he added. Prior to the commencement of the test on the day, TSCHE chairman Prof T Papi Reddy selected ‘Set-B’ question paper by the lottery system.

The KU in-charge registrar, Prof K Altaf Hussain, ICET convener Prof Omprakash and English department head K Damodar Rao visited test centres and monitored the conduct of the examination.
