Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday asked the revenue department officials to prepare a system to maintain the land records properly without any confusion.

He was reviewing revenue department works at his camp office. The Chief Minister said that there was lot of confusion in land records such as single land being registered in the name of many individuals, details in pattadar pass books being different from the actual situation, and ambiguity on the status of assigned lands given by the government to beneficiaries, etc.

All these are resulting in land issues and court cases, which are pending since many years. He wanted a system to be developed which would end all these ambiguities. He also asked the senior officials to guide the district collectors in all such matters.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister called up Warangal Collector and RDOs of Siddipet and Peddapally and inquired about the land details. He wanted the official to computerise the land details once there was clarity on the land records.
