Farmers told to adopt scientific methods
Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary has called upon the farming community to adopt scientific methods to get better yields. He said different institutes like Agriculture Research Centres have been engaged in research activity and were coming up with valuable information for the benefit of the farmers. The farmers should make use of such data to achieve good output.

The Speaker addressed a national conference on ‘Agricultural and rural innovation for sustainable empowerment’ at Kakatiya University on Saturday. The conference was organised by a non-governmental organisation, called Siri.
The government has been introducing various measures for the benefit of farmers. Efforts were being made to develop Telangana State as seed bank of India, he added. During the conference the speaker has presented awards to the best farmers.
