Sudeep Laktakia promoted, takes charge as DG(V&E)
The Telangana State government on Monday promoted Additional Director General Sudeep Lakhtakia and posted him as Director General of Vigilance & Enforcement (V&E) department.
Hyderabad: The Telangana State government on Monday promoted Additional Director General Sudeep Lakhtakia and posted him as Director General of Vigilance & Enforcement (V&E) department.
Sudeep Lakhtakia assumed the charge of his new post at the V&E headquarters at the BRKR Bhavan. Additional DG AK Khan, who was holding the additional charge of the department, was relieved.
The 1984 batch IPS officer is the first regular DG of V&E department, since the formation of Telangana. The other senior officers like Rajeev Trivedi and AK Khan were holding full additional charge of the department till now.
Senior officials Ravi Gupta, Sandeep Kumar Jain, MK Singh and VV Srinivasa Rao along with other staff of the V&E, attended the ceremony and greeted Sudeep Laktakia on the occasion.
