While scorching temperatures continued to trouble people in Telangana with 43-44ºC temperatures being recorded at most places in the state on Sunday, Warangal and Karimnagar districts witnessed prevailing heat wave conditions with Hanmakonda recording the highest temperature of 45ºC.

Moderate rainfall occurred in few places at Mahbubnagar, Khammam district. Even in Rayalaseema, 9.5 cm rainfall was recorded at many places in Anantapur district while Kurnool, Guntur and some other places of coastal Andhra Pradesh witnessed light rainfall.
