Candidates of TRS, TDP and BJP filed nomination papers for Rajya Sabha seats as there were six seats in two Telugu-speaking States for which elections would be held on June 11.
Ruling TRS party in Telangana has fielded two candidates in Telangana State as per its MLAs’ strength. Former Congress State president D Srinivas, who changed his loyalty to TRS, was given a chance for Rajya Sabha seat by TRS.
