Justice C Praveen Kumar of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday suspended an order of the GHMC giving 24 hours notice to the Punjagutta Hindu Smashan Vatika to remove hoardings and advertisements from its premises to help the development of the crematorium.
Justice C Praveen Kumar of the High Court at Hyderabad on Thursday suspended an order of the GHMC giving 24 hours notice to the Punjagutta Hindu Smashan Vatika to remove hoardings and advertisements from its premises to help the development of the crematorium.
The judge made the interim order in a writ plea filed by the advertisement agency which complained that the GHMC had received huge sums from them for erecting the pole and for raising their advertisements. The action of seeking to summarily remove the hoardings and advertisements was complained as being arbitrary and illegal.
