Hyderabad: The Chief Minister also said the government was giving impetus to health, education and other key sectors for inclusive growth. He said the government was keeping all manifesto promises. Required number of dialysis centres in the State was being set up to provide the best medical and health facilities to the poor, he added.

The Chief Minister said education, health, industry, welfare, IT, and other key sectors were priority for overall development. Steps began for a complete revamp of the hospitals which were in dilapidated conditions due to negligence of the previous governments, with latest equipment, medicines and hygienic conditions besides regular change of bed-sheets to check the spread of diseases, he maintained.

Chandrashekar Rao said the officials were asked to improve quality in health services with all facilities to ensure that the people got confidence on the government. A plan was on cards to construct inner ring road in the city and lay roads connecting Hyderabad and district headquarters and from there to villages, he said. The administration had to deliver goods to the people avoiding hindrances and problems.

He said that as many as 1,798 industries and companies came forward investing Rs 24,698 crore and offering 1.14 lakh jobs. Fine rice was being offered to poor families, hostels and would be extended to colleges this year. The TRS government was implementing first-of-its-kind industrial policy that attracted many industries with huge investments and offering jobs, he said.
