Though Venkat Reddy claimed that his meeting with Harish Rao was only a courtesy call to convey birthday wishes to the Minister, sources said that the duo were closeted for more than 40 minutes, The subject of Venkat Reddy and his brother joining the TRS reportedly figured in the discussions.

Meanwhile, Venkat Reddy is not seeing eye to eye with Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy and is not relishing the Minister’s dominance in Nalgonda district. The two leaders locked horns on several issues, particularly development activities in the district.
