They suggested the government not to offer lip sympathy but to show commitment and action in strengthening the government schools in the State where poor students study.

Addressing the gathering, Committee district chairman Renukuntla Vijay Kumar stated ‘Badi Bata’ programme will not help the government schools in any aspect and demanded the government to control the private schools, which are wooing the students and parents with special offers.

Vijay Kumar advised the government to build confidence among the public that government schools also will provide quality education on par with corporate schools and also suggested the officials concerned to bring all government school managements under one roof for easy administration and supervision. P Gopal Reddy, P Ravi Kumar, R Ramanarsaiah, Vidyasagar Reddy, P Venkulu, Indluru Sagar, Chary, Pandula Saildulu and others participated in the dharna.
