Hyderabad: In connection with the distribution of ‘Fish Prasadam’ at Exhibition Grounds in Nampally on June 8 and 9 the Hyderabad traffic police imposed traffic restrictions.
Vehicles coming from MJ Market towards Nampally would be diverted towards GPO in Abids and Nampally Station Road T Junction. Water tankers of HMWS&SB, vehicles of the fisheries department and vehicles of voluntary organisations carrying food materials with valid passes would be exempted from this diversion.
The movement of vehicles from MJ Bridge towards Nampally would be diverted at Alaska towards Darusalam and Ek Minar.ommuters coming in four wheelers from public gardens for the prasadam have to park their vehicles at the Government Junior College for Girls in Nampally and proceed on foot through the Ajanta Gate to enter exhibition grounds.
If parking space is not available, vehicles would be parked at public gardens. People coming in buses and vans would be alighted near Bamboo Adda and they would have to walk till exhibition grounds.
VIPs’ vehicles would be allowed to park at Central Warehousing Corporation and would be allowed to leave through Exhibition Club Gate and join Darusalam road towards Ek Minar Mosque, he said.
Two wheelers would be allowed to park at Indira Bhavan, Chandra Vihar, Gruhakalpa and also in the lane beside Midas High School. If the parking lots there are full, bikes would be directed to public gardens for parking.
All government and military vehicles without passes would be allowed to park at Gagan Vihar and the on-duty police vehicles would be allowed to park at the DEO office building and police bikes should be parked in the set back area opposite Andhra Bank (APHB), said Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Jitender in a press release issued on Monday.
