Kodandaram faces Naini’s wrath
Even as the entire Cabinet has launched a blitzkrieg against Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram for his alleged remarks against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, asking him to step down, Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy lashed out at the former for making what he called ‘mindless’ comments.
Hyderabad: Even as the entire Cabinet has launched a blitzkrieg against Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram for his alleged remarks against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, asking him to step down, Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy lashed out at the former for making what he called ‘mindless’ comments.
Addressing the media along with Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali at Secretariat here on Tuesday, Narsimha Reddy, in his usual typical clingy and yet baritone voice, took on Kodandaram and demanded that the latter withdraw his comments belittling the Chief Minister.
“Is he not aware that Chandrashekar Rao is toiling day and night for the welfare of SC, ST, BC and Minorities in the State by spending a whopping Rs 35,000 crore?” he asked. The Home Minister also sought to know with whose support the professor was attacking the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government, which was giving top priority for Golden Telangana.
