The infighting among the Congress leaders has once again come to the fore. After Komatireddy Venkat Reddy targeted TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy on Wednesday dubbed Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Leader K Jana Reddy as “a covert.”
Hyderabad: The infighting among the Congress leaders has once again come to the fore. After Komatireddy Venkat Reddy targeted TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy on Wednesday dubbed Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Leader K Jana Reddy as “a covert.”
Govardhan Reddy, while speaking at a media conference here on Wednesday, accused Jana Reddy of playing “covert politics.” People of this kind should quit the party. Komatireddy brothers had tried to join the TRS several times in the past. It would bode well for the party if Komatireddy brothers along with Lok Sabha member Gutha Sukender Reddy and MLA Bhaskar Rao leave the Congress,” he felt.
Govardhan Reddy’s tirade against is believed to have stemmed from an argument between him and the CLP Leader during the Congress Legislature Party meeting on May 28. He is believed to have criticised Komatireddy brothers because Venkat Reddy, while questioning the rationale behind serving show-cause notice on him, wondered why no action was taken against Godavardhan Reddy despite the latter’s outbursts against the party leaders.
Godaardhan Reddy cautioned Sukender Reddy that the latter would lose credibility if he chose to switch the party third time.
