South India varsity staff meet begins tomorrow
The convener of the conference Pulla Srinivas speaking to press persons on Wednesday informed that about 300 delegates from 50 Universities of South India would participate in the conference.
Warangal: Technical Staff Association of Kakatiya University is organising the first tow-day conference ofIndian Universit Technical Employees of South ies on June 10 and 11 in Warangal.
The convener of the conference Pulla Srinivas speaking to press persons on Wednesday informed that about 300 delegates from 50 Universities of South India would participate in the conference.
The main objective of the conference is to bring all the technical associations of South Indian Universities under one umbrella to discuss anomalies in pay scales, promotion channels, cadres, designations and service rules existing in different university and to strive for uniformity.
A comprehensive report would also be submitted to both the Central and State governments highlighting the issues. The golden jubilee celebrations of All India University Employees Confederation (AIUEC) would also form part of the Conference, he said. The conference chairman V Krishnamacharya and others were present.
