Speaking during the TDP workshop at NTR Trust Bhavan here on Wednesday, Revanth Reddy said that when TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao started luring TDP MLAs and took 15 of them into TRS, the party alerted Congress and asked its leaders to question the actions of the Chief Minister. But they kept silent and ignored our warning, he said.
He also ridiculed Congress leaders’ comments asking other parties to launch a joint fight against Chandrashekar Rao’s ‘Operation Akarsh’. “Now it is BJP’s turn, which was maintaining silence. The Chief Minister would now try to attract BJP leaders,” the TDP leader said.
Telangana TDP executive meeting began here to discuss and involve in a future course of action on people’s burning problems and failure of the State government in taking up drought relief work. The meeting was being attended by Telangana party leaders, including State party president L Ramana, Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy and others.
