​Hyderabad: Cinematography and Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav on Saturday offered to release Rs 50 lakhs from his constituency funds immediately to address issues and improving facilities at Gandhi Hospital. In a week, two ambulances would be provided to the Gandhi Hospital, he said.

After visiting the hospital followed by a review meeting, the Minister directed the officials, doctors and staff to work in coordination to cater to the needs of the people. He sought a wish-list of the hospital and promised to address them in a short time.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had offered Rs 1 crore each to superintendents of Gandhi, Osmania and Warangal Hospitals to use for emergency expenditure and offered Rs 10 lakh to each PHC for better health services, he mentioned.

Srinivas Yadav said he would visit the hospital again along with Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy to address the issues of filling up posts of doctors and other staff, besides acquiring the best equipment through adequate funding.

The Minister asked the doctors and officials to keep the good name of government hospitals by offering dedicated services. Ultimate aim of the government was to provide the best health services to the patients coming to Gandhi Hospital from various States and districts, he said.
