He urged the public to support the Congress party, which accorded separate Telangana to keep its word to the people in the State. In the days to come the party would come into the power as the public was vexed up with the misrule of the TRS, he added.
Warangal: Grand celebrations marked the 46th birthday of All India Congress Committee vice-president Rahul Gandhi here on Sunday.
A celebration was organised at Warangal Chowrastha by the City Congress working president Rajanala Srihari, who cut a 46 kilograms cake, matching the age of their leader. Speaking on the occasion, he hoped that Rahul Gandhi would become the Prime Minister of India in future.
He urged the public to support the Congress party, which accorded separate Telangana to keep its word to the people in the State. In the days to come the party would come into the power as the public was vexed up with the misrule of the TRS, he added.
Both, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have failed to deliver their election promises and have been taking anti-people decisions since they assumed power. There was no visible development in the state, Srihari complained.
