Vehicle thieves nabbed
Another accused, called Mohammed Shafi of Kauwada in Hanamkonda was absconding.The accused have stolen eight two-wheelers in 2015 while in the current year they stolen 23 two-wheelers under Subedari, Hanamkonda, Intezargunj, Mills Colony and Hasanparthy police station limits. Shujath Hussain works as mechanic in an optical shop and Shaik Wahid works as a mechanic in air coolers shop in the city.
​Warangal: commissionerate’s CCS police have arrested two thieves and recovered 31 two-wheelers from their possession.
The Commissioner of Police, G Sudheer Babu, who produced the arrested thieves before the media here on Monday, informed that the worth of recovered vehicles was around Rs 20 lakhs. The accused were identified as Syed Shujath Hussain and Shaik Wahid of Rayapura in Hanamkonda.

As they got used to drive newly launched vehicles and to live lavishly, the trio has started stealing two-wheelers to make quick money. They used to gift some of the stolen vehicles to their friends and relatives, while hiding other vehicles in the bushes at Puligutta behind JSM School in Hanamkonda.
Based on a tip off, CCS inspector K Sridhar and a team of police personnel have intercepted and taken Shujath Hussain and Shaik Wahid into custody at Raj Hotel area at Hunter Road. During interrogation they confessed to their crimes.
The Commissioner has appreciated CCS inspector Sridhar, SI B Suman, head constables K Siva Kumar and T Veeraswamy, constables K Maheshwar, B Rajashekar and V Jampaiah for nabbing the culprits.
