The chief amounts of rainfall recorded (in cm) in other parts of the State were: Tenali , Chittoor, Lakkireddipalle four each, Kamalapuram, Royachoti, Tanakal , Gudur, Bondapalle, Avanigada three each, Pulivendula, Sambepalle, Pakala and Proddutur, 

Hyderabad: Vempalle in Kadapa district and Vijayawada airport received six and five cm of rainfall respectively during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday, as rain occurred at a few places in coastal districts and at isolated places in Rayalaseema.

Bheemavaram, Kalingapatnam, Narsipatnam, Atchampet (Guntur district), Machilipatnam, Gudivada, Gajapathinagaram, Polavaram, Mangalagiri, Tanuku and Tekkali two each.

The Met office forecast light to moderate rain/thundershowers at a few places in the coastal districts and in Rayalaseema from June 22 to 25. Increase in rainfall is the weather outlook from June 26 to 28, as the trough from Vidarbha to south Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Rayalseema is persisting.

During the last 24 hours, Tirupati recorded the highest day temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.
