According to Halia CI Parthasarathi, three youngsters Dakuri Murali, Mekala Ashok and Shaik Taruddin of Nidamanoor formed as a gang and started stealing two wheelers in the two Telugu speaking states. 

Nalgonda: The Nidamanoor police on Wednesday arrested three members of inter-state gang of thieves and recovered Rs 8 lakh worth two wheelers from them.

According to Halia CI Parthasarathi, three youngsters Dakuri Murali, Mekala Ashok and Shaik Taruddin of Nidamanoor formed as a gang and started stealing two wheelers in the two Telugu speaking states.

During vehicle checking at Nidamanoor on Wednesday, the police suspected Murali and Ashok, who were going on a bike and took them into custody. During enquiry, they told about vehicles theft.

Based on their information, the police recovered 29 two wheelers of Guntur, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Miryalaguda, Nizamabad, Khammam and Rajahmundry from them.

The police also arrested 19 locals, who purchased the stolen vehicles from the gang at a cheaper price. Speaking to the media CI Parthasarathi said if the owners of the stolen vehicles approach them with original papers and supporting documents, then they will give the vehicles to them.
