​Mumbai: Decks are cleared for the signing of historic MoU between Telangana State and Maharashtra government with regard to Meddigadda, Tummidi Hatti, and Chenaka-Korata barrage.

According to Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, the MoU would be signed during July second week between Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

This decision was taken at a meeting Harish Rao had with Fadnavis in Mumbai on Thursday. Harish said Maharashtra has no objection if the height of Medigadda project was 101 metres and the water was stored up to 100 metres.

As regards Tummidi Hatti, it was decided that the FRL would be 148 metres.
