With an initiative of an NRI based in the US, Pabba Bhasker has helped a government high school at Mattewada in Warangal to get basic amenities like toilets, hand wash rooms and others. The NRI, who studied at the school, offered an amount Rs 5.5 lakhs for the construction of new toilets, handwash rooms, percolation pits and renovation of existing toilets at the school.

​Warangal: With an initiative of an NRI based in the US, Pabba Bhasker has helped a government high school at Mattewada in Warangal to get basic amenities like toilets, hand wash rooms and others. The NRI, who studied at the school, offered an amount Rs 5.5 lakhs for the construction of new toilets, handwash rooms, percolation pits and renovation of existing toilets at the school.

The works were executed in association with Rotary Club of Warangal. Warangal mayor N Narender has inaugurated the newly provided amenities at the school. Addressing a gathering on the occasion he lauded the NRI Bhasker for his generous contribution for betterment of the school.

The mayor also appreciated the Rotary Clubs’ efforts in improving infrastructure and educational standards in select government schools and to offer computer education. The government was also committed to improve standards and facilities in government schools.

Soon an Employment Tower to train unemployed youth and help them get jobs would be set up he said.
