Plant trees in private colleges: Joint Collector.
District Joint Collector Dr Satyanarayana directed the managements of private engineering colleges to involve their students in Haritha Haram, the government flagship programme to make it a grand success.
Nalgonda: District Joint Collector Dr Satyanarayana directed the managements of private engineering colleges to involve their students in Haritha Haram, the government flagship programme to make it a grand success.
He held a meeting with the correspondents of 18 private engineering colleges at Swamy Ramananda Teertha Engineering College here on Thursday.
Informing that the district administration is going to plant five crore saplings in July, he urged the private colleges’ managements to dig pits at vacant places in the premises of their colleges in July first week and plant the tress by July 11.
Since humans’ life is linked with plants, it is everybody’s responsibility to plant a sapling to make green and healthy society.
DSO Sudarshan Reddy, Chairman Karunakar Reddy and correspondents of various private engineering colleges have participated in the
meeting.
