With an objective to do his part in developing green cover at his native village, Warangal range DIG T Prabhakar Rao has on Saturday took part in a massive plantation programme here.  

Nirukulla (Warangal): With an objective to do his part in developing green cover at his native village, Warangal range DIG T Prabhakar Rao has on Saturday took part in a massive plantation programme here.

He along with the villagers has actively participated in Haritha Haram programme and planted saplings at Nirukulla of Atmakur mandal in Warangal district to which he belongs to.

The residents of the village have extended a warm welcome to the DIG on his arrival.
Parkal MLA Ch Dharma Reddy, Sarvodaya Youth Organisation secretary P Damodar and others joined with the police official in the plantation programme.

The DIG accompanied by his old friends planted saplings at a local government high school, where he studied.

Speaking on the occasion, Prabhakar Rao said he was very happy for visiting the school he studied for a noble cause of planting saplings. He called upon the locals to take the task of planting saplings seriously in the interest of all the people.

NPDCL superintendent engineer Satyanarayana Goud, ZPTC Sanjiva Reddy, MPP Mallikarjun, MPDO Narmada, sarpanches Sangitha, Ravinder, the local police officials Ravi Kumar and Ramakrishna were present.
