320 SCCL-trained candidates clear PE test for SI posts
About 320 of the 481 candidates trained by the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) for the SI posts have been found to be successful during the physical endurance (PE) test conducted by the Telangana Police Recruitment Board (TPRB) recently, thereby contributing to 66% success rate. Hyderabad: About 320 of the 481 candidates trained by the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) for the SI posts have been found to be successful during the physical endurance (PE) test conducted by the Telangana Police Recruitment Board (TPRB) recently, thereby contributing to 66% success rate. Significantly, of the 320 successful candidates, 123 are girls. The test was held between July 1
and 7. Singareni’s success rate is outstanding amongst any individual PSUs efforts in the State in support of unemployed youth preparing for police training. SCCL CMD N Sridhar had taken up several steps towards CSR initiatives and Singareni Animuthyalu was a programme taken up for the benefit of unemployed youth.
Under this programme, about 1,600 youth had been receiving training for SI and police constable recruitment. About 700 candidates who cleared the preliminary written test for police constable posts are gearing up to face physical endurance test expected to commence from July 15.
The SCCL CMD also directed the concerned officers to intensify training programme for the benefit of unemployed youth, including tribal youth of Khammam and Adilabad districts.
