Khammam: TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka accused the TRS government of watering down several welfare schemes introduced by the Congress government. Speaking to the media persons here on Thursday, he said that the TRS government has failed miserably in fulfilment of various promises it made even after two years.

“What happened to double bedrooms and 12 per cent reservations to minorities,” he questioned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, alleging that he had failed to deliver even a single promise.

Though there was no need, the government has escalated cost of all irrigation projects in the name of redesigning to the tune of Rs 2.20 lakh crore, Bhatti said, calling it as a biggest ever scam in the country.

“Arogyasri and 104 medical services have become defunct,” he alleged, accusing the TRS government of neglecting the welfare of downtrodden sections in the State.

Former ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Sambhani Chandrasekhar, former union minister Balaram Naik and DCC president Aitham Satyam were present.
