Fulfill poll promises at once: CPM
CPM leaders and cadre have on Thursday organised district-wide protests against both the Centre and State governments to remind the promises they made during elections. They organised rallies and dharnas and burnt effigies in the district.
Nalgonda: CPM district secretary Julakanti Ranga Reddy slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for making false promises on controlling the prices of essential commodities and jobs to unemployed youth during 2014 elections.

Ranga Rreddy attended as a guest to the dharna organised by Miryalaguda party unit at the RDO office. Addressing the gathering, he listed out the failures of both the State and Central governments in the last two years. Demanding both the governments implementing their election promises immediately for the welfare of poor, he warned of intensifying the stir nationwide.
Led by Mudireddy Sudhakar Reddy, party activists burned the effigy of the Central government at Clock Tower and raised slogans against the Central and State governments on their anti-public policies.
