​Mahbubnagar: The Mahbubnagar police are planning to install 21 CC cameras at all the junctions in the district headquarters. The main objective of installation of these CC cameras is to put a break to the growing crime rate in the district.

While inaugurating a CC camera installed under rural police station limits in the district, Rema Rajeshwari, Superintendent of Police said, “The role of CC cameras is vital in controlling the crime rate in the district. Particularly, traffic violations are on the rise and it is important on the part of parents not to allow their minor children to drive vehicles.”

Srinivas Goud, MLA of Mahabubnagar, also extended his full support to the police department and donated Rs 5 lakh to the police department for installation of CC cameras. Later, the MLA along with the SP and other police officials took part in the Haritha Haram programme on the premises of the rural police station.

Krishnamurthy, DSP of Mahbubnagar, Ramakrishna and Saidulu, Circle inspectors and Rajeswar, Sub-Inspector of police along with other constables also took part in the tree plantation programme.
